It's Been A While

It's been a while since we posted anything on our blog! So sorry to our loyal 1 follower (Juliette). At any rate, it gives me great joy to officially announce, on our blog, the birth of our son, Nathan Matthew Jones. Some pics of the little guy are on my Facebook profile for those that are interested.

I think it is safe to say that we will be trying to do a better job at keeping this up now that the little one is here.

Life is great! We are alive and somewhat rested here in Charleston. The weather has taken a turn towards rainy and cloudy...ah, reminds me of Germany. I am working hard at St. Andrew's and have actually been hired (alongside my current position) as the worship leader for St. Mary's, a mission church of St. Andrew's. This is a huge affirmation and encouragement for me, as I have really enjoyed leading music and leading people into the presence of the Lord. I am hoping that this will develop into something more full-time, but in the meantime, I am just happy where we are. I continue to pray diligently that God will give us a clear sense of direction for the next couple of years.

Hillary is great. She is still a babe. And she is an outstanding mother. It is so cool to see her step into the role that she has, for so long, wanted to have. And she is dang good at it, too.

We both send our best to you, reader. And we hope to speak with more of you soon!

As always, blessings,
Andrew and Hillary

i had to look twice at my Reader to be sure it was really your blog that had a new post! ha ha! we were so happy to hear about little Nathan Matthew! Somebody at CT was wondering if each boy ya'll have will have it's middle name be one of the Gospels...we're betting so... =)
We MIGHT (BIG MIGHT) head State-side this summer, although it might be this Christmas. Stefan is dreaming of the 'ultimate road trip' to see everybody...but the bank account will determine that one. We'd love to come to Charleston and have some beach and Jones-family time!

Yeah, I am going to try and make this a daily thing. But once a week at the least. I do hope you guys come and see us. You are more than welcome to stay with us for free...although I might make you bring some German goodies. :) Hope to see you guys soon! Auf Wiederriechen! (my cheesy German version of "smell ya later".
